ÅOOMI in the world — No Name Coffee Lab, Granollers

Step into No Name Coffee Lab, and you’ll find a warm, inviting space where coffee lovers, cyclists, and locals gather to enjoy everything from bold espresso to delicate filter brews. But it’s not just the coffee that makes this place special—No Name Coffee Lab also serves fresh juices and homemade pastries, including the local favorite: banana bread.
My love for specialty coffee was the main driving force behind opening this café. I also wanted to bring high-quality coffee to Granollers and its surroundings—so people wouldn’t have to travel all the way to Barcelona just to enjoy a great cup.
Do you have a favorite coffee bean or roastery you work with?
Yes! We work with Harmony Coffee Roasters, a small roastery in Montcada run by Dani and Agatha. They stand out not only for the exceptional quality of their coffee but also for the warmth and personal connection they bring to their craft.
What kind of atmosphere did you want to create in your café?
I envisioned a calm, welcoming space where everyone feels at ease—whether it's for a relaxed conversation, a quiet moment alone, or even a casual meeting spot.
Yes, it’s definitely more challenging than in a city like Barcelona. The costs are quite similar, but the customer volume is lower. However, that also makes it rewarding—because here in Granollers, we focus a lot on education. Many people aren’t yet familiar with the craft behind specialty coffee, so we take the time to explain and share the story behind each cup.
Do you have a favorite moment of the day in the café?
Absolutely. My favorite moment is right before opening, when everything is set up and I have 10 minutes to enjoy my own coffee—usually a filter brew. It’s a small ritual that helps me start the day on a happy note.
Why did you choose ÅOOMI cups for your café?
ÅOOMI cups felt like the perfect fit for a specialty coffee shop. Their material, shape, and aesthetics make them ideal for daily use, and our customers love them. They’re both practical and beautiful—just like a great cup of coffee should be.
