Our mugs, bowls and plates are safe to use in microwaves and ovens, but it’s important not to expose them to extreme thermo-shock. So please don’t put our product directly into a very hot oven or don’t pour it with cold water after it was taken out from the oven — it may cause its rapture.

Our ceramics are safe to be washed in dishwashers (both in private and industrial settings) and they are resistant even to harsh chemicals. We always recommend using natural cleaning supplies in order to let’s all look after the environment.

Thanks to the high-fired manufacturing process, our ceramics are very resistant to chipping, and therefore stackable. However, no ceramics are by any means unbreakable so please handle our products with care..

All ÅOOMI products are very resistant to scratches. However, low-quality cutlery can leave marks on their surface. We recommend using high-quality cutlery for our plates and bowls in order to protect their glaze. Please remember that scratches or glaze marks will never affect the functionality of the product.

Our ceramics go through a dozen human hands throughout the production process, which may affect slight size discrepancy between pieces. We try our best to control the consistency of every ÅOOMI piece, but the products may range from batch to batch. We believe it’s what makes our ceramics so unique!
